Keep prices low! This can be easier said than done. When you have a lot of cash and the price of walls is cheap, it makes sense to buy a bunch. But! As the price increases you start heading towards trouble. Try to only buy things when they are cheapest. We've added in an auto purchase button to make this easier. Try to get a price adjuster ASAP
Diversify defences. If the price of the trap or walls are getting too high, buy cannons or coils. This way you do more damage to the enemy and they can do less damage to your walls, giving you time to drop the price.
Location location location! Wait... no. I mean, Animals Animals Animals! Try to buy as many animals as possible. The more scoops/poops you have, the more you'll be able to spend on defences.
Keep an eye on your resources! Don't buy too many cannons or coils. Every level a cannon increases, the cost for each of them to fire also increases. Be sure to buy more animals as you buy cannons, or you'll find yourself using more scoops than you can make!
Turbocharge is a helpful way to get out of a bind, as long as you're not strapped for cash. It will double the power of cannons without increasing the cost of cannons, and can even help fight off the big Scoopasaurus! When the going gets tough, and you can afford it, you can use a charger.
Use early game gold stars! Every time you stop an enemy, you get a gold star. We've made the bonus a minimum of 50 gold stars. Meaning in early waves the bonus gives you more gold stars than you would normally receieve. Why? Because we like you, and you're awesome! After four waves you'll easily have 200 gold stars. If you convert those into scoops, you'll get 6000 scoops! That can be an easy way to get a price adjuster or a smooch early on in the game.
Once you've acquired your red buttons, try to always keep 600 gold stars in case you need a red button recharger. It's a good insurance policy to have. If you get in a tight spot, you'll need it! Also, remember that a red button recharger recharges ALL red buttons. So you might as well use all of the ones you have first, before you recharge them.
All defences have a red button, including the traps. Make sure you have achieved all of those to get maximum fire power against the enemy!
